I do like this sunshine. We were up early to walk the beach, marvel at the pounding surf and gather a few shells. A fine spray created perfect conditions for a full rainbow to arch over our path, while coconuts rolled in our path, begging to be taken home for breakfast. What could we do? Fresh Atiu coffee and pancakes seemed appropriate, topped with fresh banana, papaya and young coconut meat. Yum!Kees worked awfully hard to husk that coconut! Living off the land is getting easier as we learn to adapt. But it's barely 8 a.m., so now what? I've thrown in a load of washing, swept a few ants out the door....guess it's time to give the kayak a go!
